Let sleeping cats lie
Some cats sleep in their owner's bed. Others curl up in their favorite rocking chair. My kitten stretches his little body out on our couch, making it impossible for anyone else to share his comfy spot.

Dogs do that kind of thing, too. When I was younger we had a Chihuahua and whenever I had a date over, she'd try to squeeze between us. Don't know if she was protecting me or just wanted the warmth of being between two bodies.

Hubby has an ongoing ownership war on his computer chair. And now that we have two cats, they are both on it!

You're right -- it's amazing how their little bodies can stretch like an accordion. Oh, and I know the battle over the computer chair well! If hubby stands up to lean over and grab something from the bookshelf -- literally two seconds, tops -- by the time he sits back down, he's sitting on a cat. LOL
